Storyteller photographer, adventuress, speaker, working on the crossroads of travel, art, body, culture and change. A Denmark native, I've traveled the world, living and working in Europe, Asia and America—a path that's given me a profound sense of personal freedom and understanding of the influence of culture on female identity.
In 2004 I founded the studio Lolo’s Boudoir in San Francisco and has since helped hundreds of women of all ages in America, Denmark and beyond to find beauty, accept and freedom through my transformational photography.
My new book Embody (Feb 2018) chronicles my intimate photographic encounter with women in photos and prose. My award-winning memoir, Seeing Red: A Woman’s Quest for Truth, Power and the Sacred (SWP 2012) is a candid account of my own path to liberation. My work and writing have been featured in Instyle, People’s Magazine, Cosmopolitan, SF Chronicle, Huffington Post, Examiner, East Bay Express, 7×7, Light Journal, Model Society and many Danish and Nepalese magazines, newspapers and blogs. My photography has been exhibited in shows at San Francisco venues and in Vevey, Switzerland. I hold a Cand. Scient. Adm. master degree from Aalborg University and have worked as a develop associate with CARE Nepal, team leader at the Kaospilots, video producer at Ideagarden, and project consultant at Secret Hotel performance theater. I split my time between USA and Denmark. I love to dance, explore, converse and create with others in touching ways, I love to to discover, and be surprised. www.lonemorch.com
