Hi Lorena! I was looking through my page when I came across your comment about your book, and I thought - Oh no! I never told her the format! I'm so incredibly sorry. It was the end of the semester and once exams got going I was in another universe entirely, and I just got back around to really visiting She Write on a regular basis. If you are still interested in sending the book, my choice is the hardback format. Again, I am terribly, terribly sorry. I do hope you are having a wonderful summer. :)

So glad you want to join the fun at Litquake, and I will definitely be going to lots of the events and volunteering in some capacity again.  I don't live in the City, but am always happy to drive in for the high-level literary events. If you're hoping to participate in Litquake as an author, you should definitely contact them now through their website.  I'm crazy busy now, so unfortunately I won't be free to chat novel writing for at least a month.  Keep writing.

Ok, let's be writer friends.  You asked how Litquake is beneficial for authors: authors can do readings, they can propose an event and invite a few authors to join them to read and eat or drink at some cool venue, participate on panels, meet other writers, the list is pretty endless, oh, and of course, volunteer to help out during Litquake, which I've done many years, and it is a fantastic way to meet writers, hear new authors, and have a great time with people who either love to read or write. There are musical events as well--check out Litquake.org and sign up for their newsletter so you get the head's up on upcoming activities. It's a great group of people and an amazing series of events all year but especially during about 12 days in October.

Always good to have friends with similar interests. I have replied to your request in email. Hope to stay in touch!:)
