I should add that my former agent is a great guy. I terminated the contract because we just weren't a good match anymore. He bought out a nonfiction agency and that became his primary focus.

Two Kinds of People

At 6:10pm on October 13, 2010, Susan Bearman said…: Hi, Lori. My twins are 18 years old now, but it's been quite an adventure to get them to this point. In fact, I'm working on my memoir about them right now, hoping to get the first draft knocked out by the end of November. I also have two older step children and 12 and 13 year old boys at home, so it's always crazy around here. To find time to write, I have found that giving up sleep is the only answer. I'm a night owl, so that helps.

BTW, my twins are boy/girl (Isaac and Molly), born at 24 weeks and just a pound and a half. Here's a link to the essay I wrote about the for the Mother Writer anniversary contest.
