Where in Arizona do you live? I lived in Phoenix for a year after I got out of the Army. I still long to go back to Sedonna, Oak Creek Canyon and Arcosanti. ::sigh:::

Hey There!
Creativity feeds my soul too. I am a FOS (Friend of Sunny's) She is the best. I have been in the process of writing this mystery series I have in my head for about 10 years. Sunny lit a big ole fire under mah butt and now I think it is finally going to happen. Looking forward to cruising to Mexico on the MURDER ON THE HIGH SEAS: A CRUISE TO DIE FOR in November and hopefully getting some more inspiration (and writing done.)

Your book sounds adorable. Just for my own curiosity, how long did it take you to write it and then get it published?

I think this is one of the best places to be to get and give writers support.

Yes, Rebecca Dahlke was very active with the Art group in your area. I know her from a mystery she wrote that takes place in my area of California. I wanted her to come and speak, but her son got killed in the family business: crop dusting. She's just recently re-entered the writing world and has a terrific website I can send you to. You should get in contact with her!

I went there several years ago to a book fair. My connection was with Rebecca Dahlke, who was with the Sisters in Crime. We just recently re-connected. I think it was on some college annex, not much foot traffic. I sold more books at the senior complex where this very nice couple put my friend and I up for the night.

So, how did your speech go?

Sierra Vista, AZ? I went there for a writers' confab a few years ago, loved the area!
