Hi Lynn,
Good to connect on SheWrites. You asked about my Wild Women group. This is an 8-week writing workshop I do every couple of years. Clarissa Pinkola Estes book, Women Who Run with the Wolves was my inspiration (all those years ago). In our sessions we respond to prompts and exercises that focus on stages of our lives from childhood through death & legacy. You can find out more on my website: http://judyreeveswriter.com/wild-women-writing-workshop/ Thanks for asking.

Hi Lynn,
The layout my husband and I did together using InDesign (he's a professional book designer, so that helps quite a bit.) It was a complex book to do, the color correction was driving us crazy! Many of my paintings have very subtle colors, and printed too dark in the first proof copy. I haven't put the art book (Elemental) on Amazon nor am I planning any large distribution, I'm using Elemental mostly for promotional purposes for the art galleries who sell our artwork, which a good many artists and photographers, and student artists do to promote their portfolios. It's too narrow a market to try to do a wider promotion like I do with my novels, tho' I did list it on Goodreads and posted an announcement at Library Thing, I've printed promotional business cards to give out to people who inquire about it, and I promote it on my blogs using a Book Buzzr widget that allows visitors browse the entire book. It's an expensive book to print, 104 color plates, which makes it very attractive, but $$$$, so it will be a rare book and Blurb seemed to be the right choice as they had the right size and shape we wanted (Standard landscape, 10 x 8 inches.) I was just exploring the possibilities with Lightning Source this evening, but it didn't look like they do a landscape orientation. Marketing is still a mystery to me, and muddle through as best as I can, picking up bits of advice along the way! I'll be surprised when we get the first deposit into our account from Blurb!
