Thanks for your message. I love your treadmill idea too! We can start a movement. I could not figure out how to click on your website as a "follower". If you can tell me how, I would love to do it. In the meantime, I will just come over every so often.
All the best,
Meryl

Hi Maggie. Thanks for visiting my blog - I went to yours as well. Left a message, but don't see it here. I will try again but here is a copy just in case:

First, thanks for this yummy looking recipe. I can't wait to try it.

Second, I think food (and olfactory) memories are some of the strongest ones we hold. Your blog makes me think that maybe when are kids are studying for tests, we should have them study near food cooking, and then have them bring snacks of that food to school to help them retrieve what they studied! We can start a movement.

I really enjoyed your blog and will visit again. Thank you for visiting mine as well. I hope you too will return.

All the best, and thanks,
Meryl

Hi Maggie, yes I understand the time limitation but am excited about the possibilities here based on the caliber of people I see.

I lived North of you (have an old pal in Aptos) and miss the North Coast and I am always delighted to find blogs that capture my interest and speak to me like yours does.

Virtual pals are a life saver to me since I live in a rural area. Recently we had an author's lunch and it was so nice to spend time with others that have the same interests and passions.

Keep in touch--and I have you in my reader.

As for my sites, probably my favorite is the http://fawnskinflyer.com because it is my voice not the voice of the professional. LOL

Welcome to the novelist group, Maggie. You might start by telling up a little about your novel-in-progress on the Show Me Your Novel and I'll Show You Mine thread. I'll look forward to chatting with you.

Hi Maggie,

If your friend is a writer, she might want to check out Grub Street, a great local writer's organization that offers classes, readings, parties, etc. Good to meet you!

Best,
Michelle
