"I wouldn't call it a novel, since it's not exactly fiction.  Maybe memoir is a more apt description. Or maybe "It's 80,550 words of satirical contemporary humor". And while staying professional, yes, I'd…"

Maggie Secara replied to the discussion 'Should you submit queries to different Agents in same Agency?' in the group Query Critique
"Always check the agency's website. Some specifically say not to do that. Possibly, if whoever gets it thinks it's better suited to a colleague, they pass it to them. Some tell you up front to submit to the agency, not to a specific agent.…"

"That may be the key. I don't think they want to write, they want to "be a writer" and after all, how hard can it be? Or they think it's an easy way to make a quick buck: Oh well, I could always write a book. I blame Louisa Mae…"

Thank you! I can't wait to take a look. I'm writing about a young character who was born in 1604. He just missed the Elizabethan window, but much of it will still apply. Cheers!

Welcome to the NaNoWriMo-group, Maggie!
Sorry for the late welcome, I am working on several projects currently and trying to catch up with Nano whenever I can *pant pant*
Good luck for the fantasy-novel! I am also writing one for Nano this year, the novel from last year was a mix of fantasy and "real life".
I'll friend you on Nano to hold my fingers crossed -- too bad the site does not show more than 11 buddies on the page.
