I write self help and memoirs to inspire and motivate. My recent memoir, "The Woman in the Photograph" is the story of a 20-year search for my mother's hidden past that irrevocably changed my own life forever.

Valentines for Moms

Let's give a big Valentine to the person who gave us this life. Now I don't have the illusion that everyone had a good relationship with her mom, or that we were always treated with kindness. But most moms did the best they could and here we are with this precious chance to do our own learning and healing. There's no bigger gift than that.
