Thank you so much for your reference to the web-site discussing the use of present and past tense. I wrote a short story collection and I used both present and past tense in the different stories and I wondered: Should I put them all in the more conventional past tense?
I didn’t and last week I signed a contract with an English publisher and the editor there hasn’t yet commented on this.
I’m very conscious of what tense I’m using so that’s why I’m grateful that you shared your experience and web-site.
