Visionary Fiction Alliance

I'm proud to announce that I've joined a group of talented writers in starting a website aimed at raising awareness of and interest in the genre of visionary fiction. Though visionary fiction has been around for a long time - think shaman stories of ancient times - most agents, publishers and big book buyers don't recognize it as a genre.   "No interest," they say.  "It won't sell." Well, we at…See More

Twelve Essentials to This Writer's Life--and Sanity

All writers need tools (Or should I say crutches?) to give them a boost when their writing is not going well.  In my case, make that twelve.  Twelve little crutches to support me as I limp through "The Between," from creating to publishing my work.  Morning Journal.  First thing every morning, I write in my journal.  It's like breathing for me.  Most often I start by…See More

Margaret.  Thank you for the message, you made my day!  And thanks for visiting my website and your positive comments.  It's only been up and running for about 6 months but I love it and how creating it opened me up. Good luck with your decisions towards 'forward movement', sometimes change is exactly what we need. I would love to keep in contact with you but not sure what would be the best way.  I have an e mail attached to my website, let me know.  Peace to you Margaret. Susan

Hi Margaret, thank you for your lovely comment. I was asked if I would write despite publishing and my answer is a full yes. Though I care to get my work out there, I spend more of my time on the craft. Wish I could find someone to do that part. But guess, as I see other writers are in the same boat.
