"Ami, Editors don't mind [editors jump in if I am wrong] as much for chapbooks, because many of the poems that make up a chapbook are published poems [with acknowledgments]."

Profile Information

Who I am:
I spent the first twenty years of my life in Hong Kong, where my parents met and married and stayed. I spent the second twenty years of my life following my army husband around the world with our two children. The second twenty overlapped with the third by two years. My husband’s last posting was Jakarta, Indonesia and when he retired he joined me teaching at the international school. I taught English Lit and Creative Writing. We lived there twenty years. Now we are living in Atlanta. My husband teaches at the international school and I retired from teaching, so I can concentrate my energy on my poetry.

No problem. I don't usually put my poems on my blog. But I do on SW because you have to be a member to veiw any threads if you search on Google. It's a critique group and you don't have to show the finished product. However you feel safest!

Hi Margo,

Yes, you  start a discussion thread with your name on it on the discussion board. You may put a link to your blog on your thread but I can't promise people will visit the link and critique you there. Most just usually post  poems directly to the website, that way we  get a conversation going about the work and can see everyones opinion all at once. If you update your personal blog and want people to know you post a heads-up on the discussion thread.
