In the early twentieth century, Thomas Andrews is building the most beautiful ship in the world. On her maiden voyage, she hits an iceberg and sinks to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
When a time travel accident sends two people from the twenty-first century back to 1906, Tom is given an opportunity unlike any other: build his ship so she can survive, and save 1500 lives.
Including his own.

From the Wordpress blog:
I like blogging, but as it turns out, I’m not a chatterbox. I’m also not a true numbers person, and rarely check my stats. Which is why I’m astonished to discover I have 227 followers.
Boy, do I feel guilty.
Hi, everybody! I really am glad to see your bright faces, even if I don’t say anything. Maybe I…

This is 2012, and in April, it will be one hundred years since the RMS Titanic set off on her maiden voyage to New York. We all know how it ended.
People like to celebrate centennial events, but in this case, the word celebrate is sadly inappropriate. This event is commemorated, rather than celebrated.
It seems that everywhere I look, there’s an article about another centennial Titanic event. I knew this would happen. People are fascinated with the ship, and the people who…

My short story, “The Farm” is available for free over at Amazon’s Kindle store. Yes, it’s only available as an ebook.
It will be $0.00 for today and tomorrow, then it jumps back to the astronomical price of $0.99. Do hurry.
Oh, and tell all your friends. I’d love for the word to get out.
Here’s the blurb:
In the 25th century, the…

Surprise! To celebrate Yule, I have a present for everyone.
I just published one of my short stories over at Smashwords. It’s a holiday story, so for the rest of December, it’s free!
It’s called The Farm, and it takes place in the Verdandi universe. Yes, I do realizeVerdandi hasn’t been published, so you don’t know anything about that universe. You can fix that a couple of…

Guess what, my moms birthday was near thanksgiving and so when we got together I gave her your book and she was really happy when she saw time travel on the front conver! BUT NOW I get this email from her that I thought I had better share with you! Here is the EXACT quote, I just copied it and am pasting it back on here.------------------------------------------------
Also wanted to tell you your friend Marlenes book is fantastic I sat down
to look at it while I was fixing dinner read the forward and dedication
just one paragraph to see if I would like it next thing I knew the timer was
going off on the over and I was three pages in to the book There isn't many
authors than catch me from the first paragraph any more.
I don't read in bed much because its hard to hold the book but I took it to bed
the other night and it was 8:30 just to read a few pages when I looked at the clock
again it was 11:30 my hands were hurting bad but I didn't want to put it down.

them I haven't read a book like than in some time --- do you think I like the book LOL

hey there Marlene!
Guess what, its almost time for your turn for the guestblogger Wednesday-the third wednesday of November. I wanted to give you the question and ask that you confirm that you will be able to get it in by the tuesday before. Your question will be-"Of all the times in your life what would you say formed the writer in you?"
Once you confirm Ill give my email to send it to since blogger isnt reliable for posting from outside even though it supposed to be.
Hope things are well! your book is great! I have been reading slowly but keep thinking about it while I am doing other things, you have compelling characters and I want to ask if it ends badly for them in spite of Titanics tragic end. BUT I wont! lol
Samantha
Marlene!
I got your note for my moms copy of your book! How cool thats it's on that special stationary!

Marlene I was wondering if you would mind if you could "sign" your book that I bought for my mom? I can give you my address and if you could just write a short note to Linda that I can put in the front cover I think she would be thrilled that its also sort of signed. Its the next best thing to having you sign it personally. Let me know if you don't mind.

Marlene, I just wanted to thank you so much for coming to my blog! And I just had to tell you at the exact same time as I was reading your comment I was sitting here with a huge thunderstorm overhead my house thundering and lightning like they always do when they get crazy here! Yeah that is the ONE and ONLY cool thing in Arizona. And thats literal too-it really makes a difference in the temp when it storms too! LOL
Thanks again! Samantha
Hi Marlene,
Thanks for following the blog! I'm glad you like it. I've now worked out how to follow yours, too.
Let me know when you're in England. I'm sometimes over the border there, too. I've lived in London and near Stratford-on-Avon, so you never know.
Catch you on Twitter.
