Hello martha,

I'm new to She Writes and would like to join the memoir group. I'm the author of the award-winning memoir "Professor Cromer Learns to Read: A Couple's New Life after Brain Injury (Author House 2010). Also a freeelance healthcare writer. My new and improved website (going live 1/15) has more info. Thanks!

Hi - Have you heard of Jon Kabat-Zinn? I like his work very much...Marty (my husband) is reading one of his books now. I am next for the book. I have watched him on YouTube in a talk at a Google staff meeting - really interesting guided meditation online.

I am going to find a reader of novels in our group in our circle of trust for summer reading...I like the idea also of re-reading the classic novels by women.

Do you know any women who are "50" and starting a memoir?

Hi - Martha - Hoping you will provide a list of novels you have read for Suzanne's site. For summer reading. I am re-reading Virginia Woolf. Her characters seem to be in their 50s...perfect for www.SuzanneBraunLevine.com. If you other suggestions would love to know them.

Hi Martha - I am letting people know about your list of "10" favorite women's memoirs. I hope we can add to the list on Suzanne's site and spread about shewrites.com too.
