Thank you for the warm welcome, Samantha. I'm so sorry that you live with chronic, debilitating pain.

In answer to your question, I live with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis--all inflammatory autoimmune diseases. It certainly impacts every area of life, doesn't it? I actually began writing shortly after my diagnosis. Writing has been very healing for me and has helped me cope with the pain and loss due to chronic illness.

I look forward to getting to know everyone here.

Warmly,

Mary

Hello Mary!

Thank You so much for joining my group Blooming Late!

I see that you have quite a body of work and am glad that you already did some sharing with us on the site! I was wondering about the column you write about chronic illness, so you mind if I ask what it is that you have? I have Guillain-Barre syndrome and am in chronic debilitating pain from nerve damage which is why I asked.

Also would you please introduce yourself to the group in our KickIt Off discussion as well as let us know your writing goals.

We have a wonderful group of ladies here like you who are also a great source of support, encouragement and inspiration for writers.

Please have a look around at our many discussions and activities, I think there is bound to be something you will be interested in and I am looking forward to seeing you around the group.

Glad you are here and WELCOME to my group!
