Past Life: Yesterday
Since childhood, I've had a fascination with the concept of past lives.As in the one lived yesterday. Yesterday was the 55th anniversary of my birth. Since 1972, I've not missed a single day of writing in both a daybook and a journal. When I care to know who I was being on oh, say, March 3rd, 1981 I can go look it up and read--hear my voice at the age of 24. Thank you so much for this additional information. I hadn't thought of a time sheet; a practical, efficient system.
My copyeditor is a parent at my daughter's school with whom I have a very friendly acquaintance. She's very generous, understands being completely broke because she lives it, too, and wants to help me bring my ms into existence.
I believe I'll be able to scrape together something decent to pay her in the end, but she's an Irish lass (re: mighty stubborn). I may be able to convince her into an exceptionally nice dinner out or something, if I can't force her to accept a check or some Benjamins.
