My professional associations
I seem to go in-and-out of memberships too often to count. When I get myself organized again, I'll update! in the past: Phoenix Writers, Arizona Authors Ass'n, NAIWE, Editorial Freelancers Ass'n....
Services I offer to other writers
Free sample edit. I will work with fiction, nonfiction, memoir, poetry, resumes, website content...anything that is written!
I'm part of these writers' groups or salons
The private writers' group of which I am a member sustains me...I recommend that all writers form or belong to one. I've attended the University of Michigan's annual Bear River Writers conference, ASU's Desert Nights, Rising Stars conferences, Writing by Writers conferences, and private writing group conferences (the ones by Melanie Bishop are outstanding).
Media outlets that I currently write for
It varies; assignments come to me from publicists as discrete projects. I used to write for Raising Arizona Kids, My Life, and Discover the Region: Arizona magazines.
