Meg Waite Clayton said… Melinda, We're delighted to have you in the novelist group! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. We save the wall for discussion, so please refrain from linking to blog posts there, but do add them in the “Links to Helpful Blog Posts for Writers” discussion thread.
And we do a live chat every Wednesday at 1EST; instructions on how to participate are in the "Our Water Cooler Wednesdays" box near the top of the group page.

Hello Melinda!
I am so happy that you have joined my grooup Blooming Late!
I saw your blog link in your profile and think you have a wonderfully styled and written blog, it's very interesting to me since (you'll laugh) pretty much ALL I know from Italy is from the Movie "Eat. Pray, Love." lol
There are many wonderful women in our group from all genres and levels of writing who are a real source of support, enouragement and inspiration for writing. I hope that you will be able to make your writing home with us!
We have many things going on in here and future plans for the group, take a look around our discussions and familiarise yourself with whats going on and participate where it will do you the most good. You dont have to follow any of the discussions unless you find one or two that will help encourage or inspire you. What I do ask of you though is if you would set your settings to recieve our emails so that when something is going on in the group you will be informed with everyone else.
We also have the pages section which can be found directly on the left of the group page. There you can add that great blog of yours, add your birthday, what you write etc. according to each page. But please be sure to add your Facebook/Twitter handle in the page for it right away so that our members can connect with you.
We are starting a wonderful project that is going to expand the promotional ability of this group exponentially and so as time allows we would really like you to "friend" every member in here as well as connect with all of them on FB and Twitter so we can all be connected with each other. Thank You!
I am glad you are here and WELCOME to the group!
