Why Do You Write and What's Your Process

As an author, psychotherapist, wife, and mother who also does abstract paintings and studies her dreams I am incredibly interested in hearing authors discuss what brought them to writing, and the process by which they continue creating.

I'll be in John Skipp's "Werewolves and Shape Shifters: Encounters with the Beast Within" anthology due out October 2010.

I'll also be in the Hint Fiction Anthology put out by W.W. Norton. It's due out November 2010.

My story "Peanut Butter Toast" is in A Cup of Comfort For Parents of Children With Special Needs.

My story "Murder for Beginners" is in Shock Totem Issue #1 and my personal essay "Hide the Sickness" is in Shock Totem Issue #2.
