The Hubby Diaries
A blog filled with anecdotal stories that highlight the funny & oftentimes frustrating differences between men & women.
With the support of my loving hubby, I take a comedic look at all those wonderful "male traits" that challenge every relationship and marriage.

Because, as women, we do know a few things:
Marriage is fun
Sometimes men just doesn't listen
Electronics will almost always get their attention
And.. clean is not always clean.

Love 'em or Hate 'em... they're all ours ladies!

active leisure snapshot
Active Leisure – (F)unemployment

I was unexpectedly laid off from my job in June of 2009. When I suddenly found myself with unlimited free time (there are only so many hours a day you can job hunt), I turned to blogging. My new found “active leisure” lifestyle not only helps with some mental exercise but it also tries to provide some levity and comedy to an otherwise crappy situation.

Please join me on my journey as I navigate my way through sleeplessness, lack of motivation and my ever-growing “muffin top”...as I sit in my “pajamattire” and share my stories!

Funny Women

I want to encourage women to submit to humor venues. I urge you; I implore you. Let’s start a revolution and change the world’s mind about who’s funny. Your heart will swell with accomplishment and your breasts will become larger. This I promise.

My daughter lost her job last March. She makes ends meet by part-time work and odd jobs like housecleaning, set-up and serving at parties, and driving elderly folks to Dr. appmts. I sent her your blog. She doesn't want to hear my old stories about layoffs in the 80s. She's more likely to appreciate your tales!
