Hello Everyone!
I'm currently working on my first fiction project, which also happens to be my first project over 100 pages. I recently finished the rough draft and will work on a revision after the birth of my first child (any day now as of June 25, 2011).
I'm currently searching for tips, tricks, and process suggestions for:
1. revising a larger project
2. building relationships with English-language writers - tough since I live in Germany.
I also write a blog about my daily life to keep in touch with family and friends: http://pickles-and-onions.blogspot.com/
Hope to hear from you soon!
Nicole
By this time next year (July 2012) I will have:
1. completed the first draft of my novel (by December)
2. given my novel to 2 beta readers for feedback
3. signed up for my first writers workshop after the birth of my first child

No baby yet? My Max was two weeks late. I did yoga the whole entire time I was pregnant...I did not certificate program until about 3 weeks before my gave birth. Max is a strong boy!
I do the classic Hatha Yoga. One should start with the basics. Although there are over 8000 postures in Hatha Yoga, it is considered the basics. Do you do yoga too?
I am sitting at my computer trying to will myself to recall all those amazing sentences that visit me when I don´t have a pen.
Have a great day,
Kay
Hi Nic,
Glad to see you found the global writers list. Hopefully you will be able to find what you are looking for there.

Hi Nicole,
Baby any day now...wow. I have a two and half year old. It´s amazing. Maximilian is the light of my life. Is this your first? I wish you all the best.
What is your book about? How did you get past the 100 pages?
I also started a book years ago...creative non-ficition. I am ready to finish it this year.
What are you doing in Germany? I married a german man. We met in L.A. working in the same hospital. He´s a doctor at the Würzburg University hospital here. I did adminstrative stuff at UCLA. Now, I teach yoga and Medical english here.
TEll me more about you? Ok...you´re pretty busy about now.
Best to you,
Kay
Hi Nic--thanks for reaching out. Yes, there is a global writers list and I am the administrator. Let me see if I can figure out how to send you an invite. If I can't, you just need to go the list's page and click "join," and then I can accept your request. But hold tight and see if an email comes from me asking you to join first.
Looking forward to being connected!
Warmly,
Tracy
