Learn How to Evaluate a Book Idea for Its Success Potential

I'm an advocate of not starting a project--especially a large project--unless you know it has a chance of success. Failure's good; we learn from it. However, writers and aspiring authors, like most people, have no time for failed project into which they invested hundreds of hours. Therefore, I rarely, if ever, write a word of a self-published book or a book I hope to traditionally publish unless I evaluate that book idea's success potential first. When we come up with ideas for books and want to…See More

Who I am:
Nina Amir, Your Inspiration-to-Creation Coach, inspires people to create the results they desire. When working with writers, she inspires them to create publishable and published products and careers as writers and authors. She inspires non-writers to create fully-lived lives; their cherished dreams, desires and goals; and meaning-full and spirit-full rituals and practices. In all cases, she challenges them to find and fulfill their purpose and potential.

Nina, author of the upcoming How to Blog a Book (March 2012), is a seasoned journalist, editor, writing and author coach; maggid (Jewish inspirational speaker); Kabbalistic conscious creation coach; and the regular holiday and spirituality expert on Conversations with Mrs. Claus, a weekly podcast heard in more than 90 countries and downloaded by 130,000 listeners per month. She is also a weekly guest on the popular radio show, Dresser After Dark with Michael Ray Dresser. She holds a BA in magazine journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I Newhouse School of Public Communication with a concentration in psychology, is a certified life coach, a certified rebirther, and is trained as a Tarot reader and as a Voice Dialogue facilitator.

Through her writing and speaking, Nina offers human potential, personal growth, self-improvement, and practical spiritual tools. Although she often speaks and writes from a Jewish perspective, her work spans religious lines and is pertinent to people of all faiths and spiritual traditions. She also is a popular writer, blogger and speaker on topics related to publishing and writing. In all she does, Nina focuses on helping people live their lives fully and manifest their desires -- whether those desires look like written products or something entirely different.

Nina sees herself as an "Everywoman" whose struggles and successes are not unlike anyone else’s. Therefore, she writes, speaks and teaches from a place of knowing that what has worked for her will at least provide others with a starting place from which to find what works best for them.

WNFIN Challenge Helps Your Ideas Become Published Products

Posted on October 31, 2011 at 11:00pm 0 Comments

I can hear it. Although the writing world has gotten a bit quieter as we said goodbye to October dressed in a variety of garish and humorous Halloween costumes I hear the sound of distant typing. And I hear it getting louder…and louder…and louder! That’s the sound of the start of another Write Nonfiction in November (WNFIN) challenge—bigger and better than last year.

How do I know this? I know this because I have lots of great blog posts lined up with superb infomation. This is the… Continue

Why October 31st Has Importance for Nonfiction Writers

Posted on October 31, 2011 at 10:13am 0 Comments

Today is October 31st. Yes, it’s Halloween, but that’s not all. To me, and to thousands of nonfiction writers, the last day of October has importance because it means we have just one day left to prepare for the start of the fifth annual Write Nonfiction in November (WNFIN) challenge.

Now “preparing for WNFIN” means something different to me than for the average WNFIN participant. As the founder of WNFIN, I have to get 30 days worth of expert blog posts ready for publication in the… Continue

Why You Shouldn't Worry About SEO and Keywords

Posted on October 28, 2011 at 8:34pm 0 Comments

Just write great copy that's on target with your topic."

Why? When you write great copy that's on target with your topic you naturally… Continue
