Aww Nora, I feel so bad about how overwhelmed this has made you. We are a rather dynamic and energetic group to be sure! I suspect those of us who are not retired wth grown kids already are following the one thing we are particularly interested in and leaving everything else. I am glad if you like everything but yeah we have grown exponentially and there is a lot going on all at the same time! I dont expect anyone to keep up with everything. The focus here is to enhance your writing, therefore whatever one thing here that manages to inspre or encourage you, stick to that discussion and comment only when you really want to. I cannot speak for other groups but this one is not compulsory because being a mom to a 9yr old myself even I have had to keep to my own areas to simply keep up and only when I have extra time(which was non-existant this sept!) would I go peek into other members discussions and contribute. Just keep focus on your writing FIRST and what here can help enhance that-thats all we are here for-not to "schmooz" or even make bff's but to make our writing dreams come true!

I hope that helps and if you feel you must leave I will say I am sorry that you have to go but your family and your writing MUST come first before anything else. Thanks for being here.

And welcome to the novelist group! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. And we do a live chat every Wednesday; hope you can join us for that!
