Who am I
I am a novelist, screenwriter, playwright, cultural columnist and drama reviewer. I was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania where I graduated from the leading Drama and Film Academy, (BA in Theater Studies and a PhD in contemporary American Dramatic Literature) and worked for the Romanian National Television reviewing plays, producing, directing and writing hundreds of Broadcasts. In 1998 I moved to New York and since then I've worked as a freelancer for television and the United Nations, and as a media consultant. I am the founder of Manhattan Chronicles where I wrote essays and cultural columns. I am a member of PEN America and the Romanian Union of writers.

I live in Manhattan, and I have two new manuscripts, a novel (IN THE POCKET OF LIFE) and a collection of short stories (MANHATTAN FOLLY).
I also wrote 2 screenplays, Man Heaven and Weekend at the Beach, and a play, Walking Beauty.
