Who I am:
"I am selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure don't deserve me at my best." - Marilyn Monroe.

I am passionate, shameless, and full of wonder. I have been writing since I was a little girl. Jotting in journals, about holidays and places I visited, thoughts and emotions, musings and opinions. It turned into a refuge, a place where I didn't need to be understood. The paper never spoke back at me, and was always patient.

Through a confused and frightening childhood, my journal was always there. My one reliable friend. I wrote a memoir about that childhood that was never published, but I never stopped writing. I hope to publish it soon and hope that I can share my writing with the world.

I am a single mother to two boys, ages 17 and 12. I sell real estate for a living until I can make a bona fide living sharing my writing. Until then, food's still gotta be served on the table. Catch you on the flip side! Oh, and I love daffodils and tattoos and days filled with hazy sunshine. I hate anchovies and arrogance. Just in case you wondered. Hi Pam! And WoW!

As promised I’m checking in on you to see how you are coming along with your three wishes. I surely hope that memoir is moving along because I am a BIG memoir fan! And how have you been doing with getting Twitter followers, and becoming more fluent in French? I don’t want you to stress about it, but do want you to know I’m really rooting for you!

Pam, Welcome to the novelist group! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. And we do a live chat every Wednesday; hope you can join us for that!
