Profile Information

Who I am:: I've led several lives---some in phases, others, all at once. Early on I was a creative director for an international advertising agency, writing copy and winning Clios.Then,a string of successful entrepreneurial ventures took place.A marketing consulting company came out of that with the desire to see other people's dreams come true. Many did, thank God. Later in life, after a new marriage, a new role as step-mom I took my own advice to start-ups by doing something I truly loved---interior design and home renovation. During that time, I was featured as a design expert on HGTV. As the kids grew, so did my interest in honoring a lont-time spiritual calling by becoming a minister. Now I am the big tossed salad in life, combining all that experience into mentoring women who are ready to find their NEXT in life. I want to be the voice for women who think that because they are OLDER, they are OVER. I want to show, throw examples of the women I am working with and by collecting and sharing the stories of women who are proof-positve that later in life is the best part of life. I am on a mission...www.MyNewNext.com is the vehicle. A book, surely is in there somewhere.

Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to, and any scripts or plays I've authored:: I was a contributing author for an anthology about entrepreneurship. THE NEW ENTREPRENEURS: BUSINESS VISIONARIES FOR THE 21ST CENTURY. It is now out of print. Honestly, it could have been the cure for insomnia. I prefer books that are much more user friendly and motivational. I like serious subjects that are delievered with enough humor that motivates people to get moving and embrace their own humanity. Some people have said I was serious, others think I am funny. I would like to wrap those together in a bundle, called, "seriously funny---deeply human."

Media outlets that I currently write for:: I have written for interior design publications in the past and written a zillion brochures, all of which made my clients a boatload of money, I am happy to say. I love to write almost anything for anyone. I guess that makes me a word slut. I have dreams of writing for specific media right now, but I would rather keep those dreams to myself until I manifest one or two of them.

My writing is:: Nonfiction, Memoir, Journalism, Blog Posts

Services I offer to other writers:: Editing, concept development, consulting on the marketability of ideas, personal image consulting, on camera coaching, strategic planning for marketing purposes, encouragement.
