Happy Thanksgiving all.  We all have a lot to be thankful for.  I've started my very own blog and would be delighted if you come to visit and make a comment.  It's a work in progress, so I welcome suggestions. …

The October meeting was great, and it was nice to meet those of you who weren't at the September meeting.  Someone asked about websites that list editors.  Try Preditors and Editors at:  http://pred-ed.com/

Hi Ann

It was fun to see you last night and hear more about your writing and your architecture background.  You really are a trailblazer!  On another note,  I wanted to send you the link to the event I told you about and I think you would be interested in:  www.passionandprose.org.  It's an event I'm helping organize for 50 romance authors and 500 romance readers and will be such a fun way to connect with other romance writers and talk to many readers who are specifically avid romance readers.  It will be held February 25 at the Westin Long Beach and will be so much fun.  Off the record, we will be giving incentives away for early registrants which we haven't advertised yet, so if you are interested, I would encourage you to sign up early, and bring some friends.  It will be a fun day and a great networking opportunity!

One more comment: I love the picture of you on your site too! That is a glamorous one indeed. Architecture from UC Berkeley ? I am impressed with that and all your writing achievements - congrats! I will read the story as well!

Hi, I am getting a lot of comments on the driver's license piece. I think many of us have issues with our photographic presence. We may need a support group! :) Thanks for reading and commenting. Donna

I'm a natural-born lurker who has recently taken on a the personality of a rabid book promoter. I'm constantly yelling, "look at me, look at me! look what I wrote!" I write novels, poems, stories. My first novel is coming out in June--Angels Carry the Sun, it's a coming-of-age story. I've read it 50 million times, until I'm ready to gag on the damn thing, but I'm reading it one last time this week. It's supposed to be off to the printer as of May 1. I still have to write a forward. I'm sure I'll be having heart palpitations and nervous tick activity by the end of this week! check out my website: www.phoebewilcox.com I'll check out your story AFTER my week of heart palpitations! Feel free to remind me if you don't hear back from me!

I just posted a free short story read on my website (and managed to crash half the site doing so--I am so-o computer challenged). It's fun, fast, and a little naughty. Check it out at: http://www.rannsiracusa.com/about.html
It's a bridge between my first tour guide/spy romantic suspense and the second coming out this fall. Ann
