Ellen Estilai replied to the discussion 'Simultaneous Submissions' in the group Essay Writing
"I agree.  In your cover letter, let each publication that accepts simultaneous submissions know that you are submitting to more than one.  Then, when you have an acceptance, let the others know as soon as possible. "

Dorian Burden replied to the discussion 'Simultaneous Submissions' in the group Essay Writing
"I think it depends on the publication. Each one should have submissions or writer's guidelines which should lay out whether they accept simultaneous submissions or not. You'd want to check them out anyway before sending anything out."

You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. And we do a live chat every Wednesday; hope you can join us for that!
