Has anyone else. . .

I began my manuscript more than a decade ago. There was a busy ten years between putting pen to paper the first time and the decision to finally take it seriously. In the next few months, I hope to begin seeking representation. It's fantasy, but no Medieval setting or dragons ;) Has anyone else simmered an idea for so long before taking the plunge?See More

Hi Rainy:

Thanks for friending.  Your perseverence in your writing work is admirable, and was one of the main reasons I accepted.  People who don't write always think it's so easy, but it takes a lot of heart, soul, and sheer bull-headed stubbornness.  Like to read some of your stuff.

Rainy, Welcome to the novelist group! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. And we do a live chat every Wednesday; hope you can join us for that!

I Woke Up in Harlem

I witnessed the sun rise over Harlem. Harlem NYC.How different it is to wake up here than in Raleigh. No birds singing. No birds in sight. No grass, few trees. No greenery to be seen. But I have found a LOVE for it. I walked down Lenox Avenue, 125th…See More
