Rasana Atreya replied to the discussion 'How does one find beta readers?' in the group Novelists (Struggling or Not)
"Have beta readers look at it first, imo, then go to the editor. SInce you'll be paying the editor, it only make sense that they polish your MS before you let is loose in the world."

"Hi Vivienne, I wish I could say my book would fit in on your blog (who can afford to say no to such a generous offer), but my book deals with superstition, racism etc. The romance is only incidental."

Rasana Atreya commented on the group 'Authors of Interracial/Multicultural Romance & Fiction'
"Hi all, do I belong in this group? Couldn't tell for sure. My soon to-be published book is multi-cultural in the sense the characters from rural Southern India. And it is more properly a drama, not a romance. Sorry for the newbie question."

Rasana, Welcome to the novelist group! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. And we do a live chat every Wednesday; hope you can join us for that!

I Woke Up in Harlem
