Cristina Dimen said… Great to connect with you, Rebecca. I'm always on the lookout myself for other Pinays. So happy I posted the article here on She Writes.
I was about to ask you for your Twitter handle when I noticed you're - wordbinder. We're actually following each other on Twitter, already! And, I see you already liked my page, Editorial Creatives! Thanks so much. You're actually my 200th page like!!!!
Anyway, glad to have connected here, as well.
Have a great day.
Nancy Mueller said… That's an awesome blog title! Great pic of you on there too. Interesting that you're the _wife_ of a celiac rather than being one yourself. I tend to compensate by being able to cook most anything (I wear a dust mask and bake regular bread for my husband, etc). But over the past couple years, my husband's daughter, who's a few years older than I am and not at all diet-conscious, has discovered that she does much better gluten free, and I've been able to feel like something of a resource there. I'd be really interested to chat with you sometime about the whole subject and what elements of it would be interesting to write about generally...
Hope you're doing well, with writing and with life.
Kelli Swearingen said… Thanks for friending me. Weird to use that as a verb, actually. I haven't really used this site much, and I'm sure there is so much information I'm missing out on by not checking in more often. Please let me know what you find most useful.
Thanks,
Kristina
samantha stacia said… Oh sorry Rebecca,
I didnt mean to imply that you werent from here but we do have quite a few people from all around the world and the few posts I read in your blog seemed very global minded which sorry to say a lot of Americans arent. That includes me unfortunately.
As far as how to continue on with your blog, you might want to check out Kristen lambs blog, http://warriorwriters.wordpress.com she helped me tremendously with her advice on the whole platform for writers. Also many of us who have blogs will write about almost anything and have only some days dedicated to the book we are writing with excerpts etc or devoted to our genre like I do with some entries. So its about building YOU the brand as writer more than staying "on topic".
Hope it helps and no insult intended earlier, sorry.

Thanks so much--and thanks for taking a glance at my blog. You have one too?
Yes, I'm gluten free, and dairy free, and other kinds of things too...It's yet another thing that I should/might/have write/written about...
samantha stacia said… Hello Rebecca!
I would like to personally Thank You for joining my group Blooming Late!
I saw your blog on your profile and thought it was very interesting especially coming from an American perspective. I like the name of it too!
Please take some time and introduce yourself to the group in our To Kick Things Off discussion as well as list your unique blog in OUR GROUPS BLOGS in the pages section to the left on the main group page.
I hope you find a writing home with us because I feel we have the most wonderful group of women that are a real source of support, encouragement and inspiration for writers.
I am glad you are here and WELCOME to the group!

Hey, thanks so much for friending me! I joined on here a while ago but haven't really done anything with it--need to invest a little time to figure it all out and haven't yet. But knowing you're on here might motivate me to do so!
cheers,
Ela
