Profile Information

Who I am:
A boomer from Kennewick Washington who maintains full-time career as Principal Copy Editor and Records Management for a local Engineering/Environmental corporation. I'm working to craft memoir for my own healing quest in anticipation of sharing lessons learned. I've been writing for over a decade and discovered last spring that memoir is what drives me forward. What has happened in my life that will encourage others to continue on despite roadblocks along the way? Is there meaning and/or value to events that altered my course? How has the heat in life tempered my soul and made me the woman I am today? I'm pressing for skills that will take simple Memory Moments and hone them into stories that have universal meaning. 2012 is my year for crafting pages of Download into stories that will find their place within memoir frames. I Woke Up in Harlem

I witnessed the sun rise over Harlem. Harlem NYC.How different it is to wake up here than in Raleigh. No birds singing. No birds in sight. No grass, few trees. No greenery to be seen. But I have found a LOVE for it. I walked down Lenox Avenue, 125th…See More
