- Florida native, history geek, single mom with two adult children and a couple of cats. I'm finally doing what I've longed to do (but was busy being practical) since the first time they put a pencil in my chubby fingers. I'm even thinking about doing NaNoWriMo this year. I think I'll either be committed or celebrating by December 1.

Asylum, I LOVE that! lol And theres some real truth to it too, like last night when I spend until 3 am writing and have to get up at 6 to get my son ready to drive him to school by 7:45. NOTHING in the world but writing can make a person do that without being pais a substantial amount of money and Im doing it fro free! Crazy!! lol
I think Ill go take a nap now! lol

Hello Ruth!
You know I do believe something went terribly wrong with your membership in my group Blooming late. I recieved a post in my email as it is supposed to do that you joined TWO days ago and yet I had thought that I had seen your name around the group way before that! As I look over your profile I see it said you DID join the 18th.
I was admittedly having a bad week that week but the autoresponder of SheWrites telling me that I have new members shouldnt have been having one too! lol
Anyway unless I sent you a personal email which I don't think I did, then you did not get a proper welcome greeting from me and that is very important to me!
Since you have already been around the group and seen pretty much all the discussions and even listed in the "where are you from area" I don't have to ask you to participate either, I love self starters! :)
But I want to Thank You personally for joining the group and apologise for not welcoming you earlier.
