Let's imagine something abstract
Like a parrot in a pearl suit, or an apple reciting a love song
Let's catch butterflies with our teeth and feel them flutter in our tummies like fireflies in a jar
Let's walk in dry rain and splash in sun puddles
Then paint our faces with someone else's…

Is it odd that I think of tomato soup every day? I open my cabinet and imagine rows and rows of cans of tomato soup. Every corner filled with cans of sweet tomato cream that resmeble memories from my child hood. That was when the can opener would cut perfect cirlces around the top of the can. Now it breaks halfway through, leaving the can unopenable. The sweet smell of tomato carreses my nose as I pour it into the pan and stir it gently. I grab the milk and pour it in. "Milk makes it…

I composed a song today in hopes that these words graffitied on my brain could somehow run through my finger tips and be spoken in my music. Every note and chord change is a fragment of the thoughts in my mind that I dont quite know how to express. I have so much to say but I can't seem to let the words roll off my tongue and slip past my lips. I choke on what I want to say.…
