I'm just curious what's on everyone else's reference bookshelf? You know - the book(s) you go to when you can't remember grammar or punctuation rules, editor marks, you're looking for a snippet of…Continue

I have found it to be true that my craft (s) always take a back seat to a love interest.   I love love and the music I play is about love, my poetry is about love.  A slowdown in my writing/playing work process for love (the only…

No Time to Post, I'm a Wrimo

Well here it is, the final day of Nano, and I'm just now getting back on to post here at SheWrites. What can I say? I've been buried in WriMo Rebellion. The results of our *ehem* friendly family competition? Mom won, the kids whimped out.I completed my journey of insanity a few days ago. It was my first ever Nano, and I hit a few thousand over the 50k mark. The plan for my mess of a manuscript? NaNoWriMo Day One - Friendly *ahem* Family Competition

Here it is, November 1st and the start of my very first NaNoWriMo. I'm so excited that I'm driving my family nuts already. Granted, I'm not sure if they're rolling their eyes at me because I won't shut up about it, because (as usual) I'm breaking all the rules, or if it's because my word count has already hit over 5,000 this morning. No matter the reason, they aren't very fond of me this morning. That's okay. I love them, anyway...and they love me too - if for no other reason than to secure…See More
