Hello, I am releasing Galaxy Teacher book # 10 in a few days, The Complete Channeled Works of the Galaxy Teacher.GTBooks are published through Createspace and Amazon. I am also fighting my winter depression.( I am bipolar.) And I plan to replace that blurry picture of me on my page at She writes. Will do.
On reframing self-promotion, this is a good topic and one I am dealing with a great deal. I have only begun to market Galaxy Teacher Books, learning all the way, of course. It helped…

Hello, I am brand new to She Writes. Can anyone tell me how to connect with the author of the book Baby Boom? I briefly saw her in the right hand column today and am very interested in the book, and in her other work. But did not catch the author's name!

Valerie Brooks said… Hi Valerie, Just saw your friend request. So glad to connect with you. I look forward to the novelists group. I am not sure if I am a novelist or not!
Hi, Sarah,
I wouldn't worry about that now. The form takes care of itself. You either have a short story or a short story that wants to break out in a big way. Let the writing lead you. And even if you don't write a novel, this group isn't all about novel writing. Lots of great info and support. You can always throw us a specific question if you get stuck or uncertain about where to go, but I usually let my characters tell me if they need more space and time. Enjoy!
Meg Waite Clayton said… Sarah,
With apologies for being tardy with my welcome, we're delighted to have you in the novelist group!
You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. We save the wall for discussion, so please refrain from linking to blog posts there, but do add them in the “Links to Helpful Blog Posts for Writers” discussion thread.
And we do a live chat every Wednesday at 1EST; instructions on how to participate if you haven't done so already are in the "Our Water Cooler Wednesdays" box near the top of the group page.
And nice to have you in Blogging about Books as well!
