Hello Saundra!

I want to thank you for joining my group Blooming Late!

You seem by your profile to have a good foundation of writing under you, best wishes on finishing your book!

Please introduce yourself to the group in our To Kick It Off discussion and then let us know your writing accomplishments and goals in that discussion.

We have a wonderful group of women who are a real source of support, encouragement and inspiration for writing.

Please poke around the many discsussions we have and lots of activity going on you might want to be a part of.

Glad you are here and WELCOME to the group!

Sorry for the lull in my response. I am actually in Colorado now, visiting my sister and helping take care of my 6 month old niece while my brother-in-law is away on business. I got out of Detroit just before the blizzard hit. I'm still writing and submitting my fiction, though I never feel I do enough of either:) I have a novel-in-stories I am currently trying to revise. Then there's a story collection and a novel and a new novel that is pushing at me. My girls are 14 and 17 so we are starting the whole college searching process. While I have more time/freedom I also haved more anxiety with teenagers. How about you? Life? Work?

So glad it is you! Very excited to hear about your proposal. I haven't worked on mine in a couple of months while I try to build my platform (thank you, Mollie!) with the blog. I'd love it if you'd share with anyone you think might be interested. The url is http://drinkingtodistraction.com. You can subscribe, 'like' us on Facebook, and follow on Twitter, if you like as well. And what can I do to help you? Do you have a website or anything I can promote?

Best,

So, what did you win? This should be good for at least a new car, yes?

Nonfiction, Memoir and Journalism--all excellent choices. Come on over to memoir writers and tell us all about it.
