Hello,

I just joined the Steampunk Writer's Group and wanted to say hello.  (Mostly because I too live in Indianapolis and am interested in anthropology/archaeology. (More specifically, marine archaeology.)

So, "Huzzah!" for coincidence. :)

Hi Serra,

That's great that you're a three-time nano winner!  Hat's off!  Interesting blog.  I've been to Nazca  and seen the lines and found them fascinating.  I wish I had time to watch your vids in entirety, but I've got a book review to write!

All best!

Welcome Serra, to the nanowrimo group at SW! Seems there may be a nanowrimo this summer, and definitely in November. In the meanwhile, enjoy SW and let me know if I can be of any help.

I don't like the idea of writing myself...bear with me.

I read a comment, somewhere, made by another aspiring writer that described the story she was currently working on. There were two characters, one male, one female, and the female of the couple was based on the writer herself. I am not a fan of this kind of characterization, it's a bit to Sue for me.
