Hi, Sharmeen!
Thanks for connecting with me.  I would love to chat with you about my publishing house.  It's still an upstart/work in progress, but I'm very excited about new projects and getting things off the ground, soon. My main goal is to support high quality writing by helping other new/up and coming/unknown writers get their work out there.  Much of the ground work has been laid in 2013, and so I've got big plans for new projects in 2013.

Please check out my site, New Renaissance Ink, whenever you have time, and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or thoughts.

I'm not on SheWrites as much as I used to be, but I do check my page pretty regularly.  Looking forward to chatting with you about writing and publishing in the near future.

Take care, and happy writing!

~Regina.  rys

Hi Sharmeen,

Thanks for your message and yes I do still have the bracelet! Although due to the fact that I am quite active outdoors - splitting wood, shoveling snow and doing lots of other woodsy-stuff I don't wear it as often as I used to but it is still in the forefront of my mind about how I live my life.

Hi Sharmeen--Thanks for your nice comment on my academic background. My focus was on literature, but I did have the chance to learn more about the Middle Ages from a broader perspective. That all feels far in the past, as I spend more time reading--and writing--contemporary literature.  I took a look at your website, and it looks like you also studied English lit. at the graduate level.  Your website is interesting, and I look forward to spending more time reading through posts there.  Kelly
