Thanks, Sherri, I'm freaking out about it. It's very emotional for me because I started it a long time ago, when I was nineteen and now I'm in my forties. Just finished it, with one last, last, last tweak a few days ago. It's to be printed any day now! People can preorder it on my publisher's website!! I have never cried so much for joy as I have for the publication of this book. In fact, maybe I never cried for joy before in my life at all . . .

Hi Sherri,
If you're interested in research done on the same subject in the Netherlands check out the website of COGIS: "Expert center on psycho(social) effects of war, persecution, aggression and violence. [Our] aim is to prevent any sort of violence from having detrimental effects on the psychosocial well being of individual people, and the people they live and work with."
The link will take you to an English page. If you want to see more items on their site, look for "English" in the left hand sidebar, when you hover your cursor over the word, you'll see other items.
The person I knew over there doesn't seem to work for COGIS anymore, but I'm sure you'll find someone else to communicate with in English.
