Profile Information

Who I am:: My website is skyelines.net but have not used it in forever.

I am on twitter @ skyelines but, again, the technology, and, in this case, the purpose - escapes me.

I do a considerable amount of blogging on Open Salon.

Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to, and any scripts or plays I've authored:: I completed the manuscripts for two books dealing with journaling and the retreat experience. They were accepted by the publisher but never saw print.

My writing is:: Fiction, Poetry, Memoir

Outlets where I review books, TV, or film:: Yes, I do some book reviews for The Smoking Poet an on line literary ezine.

I'm part of these writers' groups or salons:: I have been writing with Cross River Writers for about seven years.

My professional associations:: I am part of Oregon Writer's Colony, The Writer's Dojo, Portland Literary Arts.

While this virtual community is wonderful, I think we all feel that gathering in person is also meaningful and crucial to our well-being, and I hope this will be the first of many such gatherings going forward.

At the anniversary meetups, we are asking attendees to participate in She Writes' Book Communion: bring one book, your own or another She Writers', and leave with another one, a perfect way to get to know each other better and to support one another's work. We will also be blowing out a candle for SW's birthday along with women gathered in 16 cities around the country (and in London!), a historic (or at least pretty darn cool) occasion.

If you can attend, or even if you can't, please RSVP to Jennifer here as a way to thank her for her willingness to step up as host.
