A Positive Suggestion

As new-ish unpublished novelist, I am constantly on the look out for for ways to make things better. This does not mean that I take everyone's suggestions. But there are some that I have applied. One of the better ones that I did take is to blog in the voice of my protagonist . http://cafecopaim.blogspot.com  .The good news is that it has made me more familiar with Arina' s thought process. The maybe not so good news is that someone who is not…See More

I am Sam. That is short for Samantha. Originality was never a strong point for my parents . I tell people that my folks are lovely people. As far as being parents are concerned , well ,they were always there when I did not need them . They are scared to death that someone would actually think that something was their fault. So they practice invisibility with the skill of any respectable ghost. They are happy with scraps . I am their wolfish daughter – and female wolves always lead the… Continue

Sue, I just opened the door to the novelist group for you - welcome! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. I’ll look forward to chatting with you!

Wow, you are one impressive lady! send me something to read or tell me where to go to read it! I like it when someone takes pains to fact check and research their little fictional whimsies. I like my fiction realistic--to have muscles (as long as they're not too big!) Re: werewolves, my uncle wrote a song called "Werewolf" that ended up (covered by another band) on the Broken Embraces soundtrack. I was very excited about it. The book I'm working on now is called Flower Symbolism for Dummies. I get to go back to the 17 c a bit for that. I have to research b/c I was never a hx buff.

Hi Sue! Who are you and what do you love to write?! I have always aspired to be a writer and now I guess I apparently am one! My first novel, Angels Carry the Sun, is coming out with Lilly Press next month. I've been obsessively promoting it and that's not ever going to stop (so, aside to myself--I have to get used to it, chickie-babe). Anyway, I do love the book so I can at least promote it whole-heartedly!
