Susan E. Willis. A Food and Love Story Writer. http://afoodlovestorywriter.blogspot.com

Profile Information

Who I am:
http://afoodlovestorywriter.blogspot.com
Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to, and any scripts or plays I've authored:
http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/12034
This year I have self published an Ebook: 'Champagne & Oysters: Loved-up food stories'. It is a ten short story anthology of up-market love stories with food connotations. Each story has a different food commodity cleverly threaded through the love story where I either give the reader information regarding the lobster, bread, cheese, meat, etc. or weave the recipe / preperation into the plot. Each story has a different eating venue, i.e. restaurant, home, cruise liner, picnic etc. and seven out of ten have happy endings.
The pitch reads:
WARNING: DO NOT READ THESE STORIES IF YOU ARE HUNGRY! From the sensual kneading of bread to the erotic swallowing of oysters, these stories will titivate your taste buds and stimulate your appetite. Mixing love and sex with food and cooking is always a recipe for success.
I'm now trying (not very sucessfully) to market it.
Media outlets that I currently write for:
Nothing current. But have had non-fiction food articles published in 'Food Manufacture' & 'Food Processing' magazines. Have one published love story in USA Love Story magazine - 2009.
My writing is:
Fiction, Blog Posts
Outlets where I review books, TV, or film:
No, but I'd love to?
Services I offer to other writers:
No.
I'm part of these writers' groups or salons:
I belong to a salon of food writers.
My professional associations:
Many associations in the food industry where I work as a food technologist, but not in the literary sense.
