Thought I'd share with you something my editor, Shana Drehs at Sourcebooks, emailed me this morning (I have her permission to share). - Who I am:
- I'm a writer. Oh, okay, that's obvious because, well, I'm here on She Writes. But still, I find I have to practice saying that.
So, I'm a writer. I write. My memoir "The Dog Lived (and So Will I)" was sold to Shana Drehs at Sourcebooks by my wonderful agent Sarah Jane Freymann. Publication is set for Fall 2012.
I've also co-written a humorous non-fiction gift-y book that found an agent but not a publisher. And naturally, I have a novel (or, er, several drafts of a novel) in the bottom of my drawer.
By day (and sometimes by night) I'm a lawyer. I live in Southern California with a dog (a beagle), a boyfriend (also a writer) and a lot of humor.

Welcome, Teresa! I am just really getting going in She Writes too. It's a wonderful resource. I write two blogs, a recipe blog and one for my musings. I have joined several bloggers groups, which has been helpful, but for my writing and support and inspiration, this one has proven to be the most beneficial. The quality of the writing and the blogs here is top notch, of course!
