Giving Back: How Writers Can Help

“If you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one.” Mother TeresaI’m not writing this piece out of any desire to blow my own horn. People all over the world give generously of their time and money to help others, and the amounts I give to charities are just “drops in the bucket.” However, every dollar counts when it comes to feeding hungry children and finding cures for the diseases that affect them, not to mention providing heat in the winter for families that cannot afford it, etc.,…See More

Such attitudes make a poet’s job tougher… Continue

Well bless your heart, Rebecca! Thanks for your support! I really hope you enjoy it. I just updated my website to contain crucial information about where any royalties might be spent...in the spirit of being upfront with my readers, of course...HA! I try really hard to maintain my "serious" writer facade, but it is tough to keep that going all the time when I have always been the class clown! :o) (Well, not the WHOLE class, but for my friends, anyway!) You can read it if you want, at http://terrikirbyerickson.wordpress.com. And I really appreciate you giving the book a try! Please keep me updated on your career, as well! Have a wonderful day, Terri :o)
