What are the Pink and Blue Diaries? Hey, I'm still figuring that out. In the meantime, I'm using this page--and a tumblr blog--to ease into my next writing project thing (aka maybe book?!), which will be, broadly speaking, about the gendering of childhood. Who am I? Deborah Siegel, creator of Girl w/Pen and one of the early co-creators of She Writes. Happy to have you join me here! The gendering of childhood: will the new definition of queer come into your exploration?

Greetings Deborah, Within each of us is a desire to belong. As a writer, I find SheWrites to warmly embrace members into its 'fantabulous' fold. I deeply appreciate that you are a bountiful bond whom unites and encourages fellow writers to express their sweetest selves. One by one, the circle is enlarged as wider connections are created. Dearest Deborah, oh child of my heart, be well and be Inspired...SheWrites is indeed noble. Once again, I thank you.
