Changing the World

Posted on December 22, 2010 at 3:06pm 2 Comments

Nothing inspires me more than my work as a speech pathologist, especially hearing a child's first words and knowing that I've helped give him or her the gift of language.  In my office is a quote from Katherine Graham:  To do what you love and to think that it matters, how can anything be more fun.  That sums it up.  Maybe someday one of those children I worked with will do something to change the world for the better and I will have had a small part in that.

Hi Thelma! I've been away and just returned.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Thanks for writing, but it's probably best I don't participate since I'm not working on a book or anything at the moment. Work is keeping me too busy!!

Best,

Monica

Thelma, I don't know what happened, but I just tried to leave you a comment on your blog and it listed the comment several times. Perhaps you can delete all but one of them?  So sorry!
