Tina, lovely to see you and thanks for the suggestions.  Would have enjoyed hearing more about your fiction project (teen? genre?)  Hope to see you again before another year passes.

Hi Tina, Great to hear you want to sign up for Tech Tidbits! I'm based in NY. I'd love to hear more about you work for the county cultural arts association.

Let me know if you need any help signing up -- I actually don't see anything indicating that you signed up in the back end?

Thanks!!

Thank you for the welcome Tina. Yes indeed I write everyday. I don't feel like my day is complete if I don't write something be it on my blog, website or novel.

You know, I made the comment about re-engaging with one's work and can't find it anywhere. Can you tell me where you saw it? It doesn't appear on my page at all, and I can't remember the lady's name with the question. I would like to follow up with her.

If an author simply can't handle "doing it all" then I'd suggest at least a couple of strategic points to create presence. I recently created free Weebly websites for two authors. They were fairly easy with point-click-drop options and if you don't mind weebly in the name of your site, it's free! Neither of these authors desires to do a lot of social marketing, but we will use these sites to point their readers to them and they have a built in blog. There are always those who will shy away and need to be reminded that internet marketing should be right up the author's alley...it's writing!

While I agree that we can get carried away and even use prompts and exercises as effective avoidance techniques to tell ourselves, well, we ARE writing something, I found two books and a couple of classes to be enormously helpful in getting me going…
