Grateful to ride this roller coaster.
(And what an emotional ride it has been. This morning I'm feeling buoyed by a beautiful email from a fan. Even though I'm a very small fish in the creative pond, I have learned enough in this process to know these moments are worth celebrating. So I'm adding *dance around the living room* to today's to-do list.)

Actually I used http://www.editorialdepartment.com/, its founder is one of the writers for "Self Editing for Fiction Writers", which was by far one of the most helpful books I have read. The staff there is great, friendly, tells you what you need to hear to improve the book but in a tactful way. I haven't yet tried their line editing however. They're affordable, but its still a bit too pricey for my budget right now!
