Toni D. Weymouth replied to the discussion 'Ebook Authors who have contracts with E-Publishers?' in the group EPublishing
This is all interesting to read. I just published Deadly Vibrations with Smashwords and Amazon. Not exactly publishing houses but places where people can e-publish books themselves. I don't have a contract and I can remove the book at any time.…

Tosh, I plan to write blogs about my book's subject which is murder by sex toys. I'm not sure if that will help. I did my dissertation on the subject for my graduate degree and a gazillion people wrote and wanted the skinny on which ones…

On cover art, we decided to go straight words. My book Deadly Vibrations is about a killer who offs his victim with a vibrator. Put that on the cover and see what happens. We did, however, have a problem uploading onto Create Space. Hopefully we can…

I'm going for the straight word content for my cover. It's called Deadly Vibrations the first in the SexToyMurder series. Try to put that into a photograph without offending someone. This is an romantic suspense with erotic undertones. I…

Thanks Rebecca. I'm with you on writing. I have three finished books I'm revising, so sitting at the computer trying to format the impossible is not my way to go. Enough with headaches. Have you also published on Nook or Kobo?

I was raised Catholic. Went to Catholic school for third, fourth and fifth grade. I learned to read at an early age and could read an entire book by the time I was six. In those days, in Catholic school, one was punished for being ahead of the…

Nice to know anyone can still call themselves radical. I grew up in the turbulent sixties. I remember the protests. What I wonder is where are these people now? Have they given up their individuality? Are they quiet simply because they were loud and…

Jeri Westerson, a pro at work

When one is volunteered to write an article, she’s usually given a guideline of expectations. Mine: write about what you learned at Saturday’s April 3rd, SIC meeting.

For starters, what I learned came from a writer’s point of view. Authors, future authors and budding writers please take note; Jeri Westerson is a prime example of how a professional conducts herself in public.

Westerson entered our morning with a smile. She spoke to a dozen people milling about in the dining… Continue

Book finished

I've just finished Erotic Knights. I'm about to send a query and synopsis. Wish me luck. EROTIC KNIGHTS is an erotic suspense comparable to Anthony Spinelli’s classic film Sex World and Belle De Jour’s (Dr. Brooke Magnanti) The Diary of a London Call Girl.

Rielly Wainwright, the protagonist and proprietress of EROTIC KNIGHTS, a fantasy sex spa for women, is a wrongfully convicted ex con living under a false identity on money stolen from a Mexicali drug dealer. When an investigative… Continue

As a female in ministry you would be surprise how we are treated sometimes. The men want to either discredit us or take us to bed...the women want to debate us or label us with the worse names ever...and these are the Christians (ha,ha,ha) then we get the lay people and that's another story altogether. How one man could hold sway over so many is beyond belief, but he did this until the sixties. I had a group of fellow therapists over last night to watch Norma Shearer's The Divorcee, a particular thorn in Breen's side. He tried to have the movie destroyed because Shearer, after finding out her husband was unfaithful, tells him in an Oscar Award performance, "From now on, my bedroom door is open to every man except you." We all cheered of course. Breen would've made Shearer accept her husbands infidelities and be passive about it. According to a book called Complicated Women, most of the pre code films were even racier than today and the only series that could even come close was Sex in the City.

Damn that Joseph Breen! I knew there was a reason why I stopped getting jobs in my past life! Just when the erotic dalliances scenes were coming along so well too!
