Writing is my spirituality...
I am not a true extrovert, yet I am not shy. In most things I am in the center. Not because I sit upon the fence unable or unwilling to choose, but because I prefer to discern my course in each instant. However, at present, I feel bound by some choices that I have made--choices that will take time to resolve themselves completely. And I am not good at waiting. But I am the architect of my lessons in life; therefore, I cannot complain without sounding like a fool. So I won't.
I have a side of light and a side of darkness. I try to honor both and suppress neither both in my writing and my life. I often use social media as a way to explore the the darkness and learn about the folks who dwell there. To that end, I have a Ning Network called The Sanctuary that openly honors the darkness and those who acknowledge it. However, it's long hallways and winding paths are illuminated with peace, comfort, respect and friendship. I always tell my members to remember that, when the shadows wrap themselves around them.
My resume: I'm a writer, and a damned good one. At least--I'm confident in certain realms. I work as a writer and production specialist for NASA (yes, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration). My name is on aerospace research papers, feature articles on nasa.gov, and various internal documents that have even landed on the desk of the president.
I love to write and I am proud of my accomplishments, but I want to be an author of fiction--that's where my love and passions lie. I've published some poetry along the way, and I paid for college with my writing, especially my poetry. But I am currently working on a vampire fiction novel (and marketing concept), which is the core of my ultimate goal...to take over the world. :)

I am an editor for the Sci-Fi Almanac and have a reputation for being a little rough on the ego. I am never disrespectful, but I do not pull punches. I do for others what I WISH editors who have rejected by work over the years would do for me... help me get better!
